Use good quality FLASH disk with best read/write performace to avoid damage STB, formatted at FAT32 file system and totally erased device. Copy the abs file on to the root (/).
IMPORTANT: Disconnect STB from INTERNET and SAT signal during upgrade.
TIKS is already ENABLED by deafault if you are comming from a OFFICIAL SW but if you have problems press MENU + "7777" to enable the hidden menu. TIKS has to be ENABLED only. You have to configure your network (WIFI is ON by default). If you are comming from an UNOFFICIAL SW then IKS will be ON by default and TIKS will be OFF. So please ENABLE TIKS to have better server and STB performance.
UPGRADE PROCESS:
1.- Extract .ssu file into root folder in a Flash disk device.
2.- Insert USB disk on marked "USB PVR" slot (right USB slot).
3.- Go to upgrade option inside menu and select .ssu file on the right side window.
4.- Apply it selecting OK.
5.- Wait until RS4800S reboots, dont touch any remote commander key.
COMMON OPTIONS:
MENU + MENU + 7777 (server setup, IKS by default ON).
MENU + MENU + 6666 (keys setup).
MENU + YELLOW (DELAY function).

There are 3 SW types you can export and import:
all --> ALL FLASH SW file (*.all.ssu)
db --> Only Database file (*.db.ssu)
app --> Only App (firmware), not database and settings (*.app.ssu).

1. We recommend connect the receiver to WiFi router through wire connection.
If you connect the STB to WiFi router through WiFi, please make sure RS4800S receiver is close to WiFi router.
2. Please install Android "URC" APP on your Smartphone/Tablet (you will need to enable inside your Android settings/Security the option enable "Unknown sources").
3. Please make sure your smartphone/Tablet and the RS4800S receiver are connected on the same LAN !!.
4. Go to CONFIG --> SYSTEM SETTINGS --> SAT2IP Settings option and enable IP SAT function.
4. If you use wifi to get internet on the RS4800S, distance from the router to RS4800S has to be less than 0.5M.
5. Now it only can work channel list, remote and display single TP.
6. It that version you will not need to know IP address for your RS4800S receiver.
7. Start "URC" app and configure RS4800S local IP address when requested.
