Que auténtico placer leer a estos tres grandísimos maestros opinar sobre estos asuntos tan interesantes, para los que disfrutamos enredando en nuestros tontones.
Parece que todos llevamos bastante tiempo metidos en este mundillo, con la diferencia que unos habéis conseguido ser unos súper expertos y otros seguimos aprendiendo de vosotros. Al menos en mi caso, si que soy “mayorcito” aunque la presbicia no me impide ver la pantalla con bastante nitidez, a pesar de los iconos pequeños, como Orni todavía es una chavala, estoy seguro que lo de “mayorcitos” lo dice con todo cariño, al menos yo así lo interpreto.
Yo diría que también hacía 2011 o quizá incluso antes, en otra web hermana/amiga, empezamos a crear otra base de datos, (en la que también aun sigo colaborando), diferente a la que comenta Caceres, en la que modestamente participe bastante activamente en mi provincia de Bizkaia y alrededores, también en la de Alicante.
Esa otra BD, también llegó a ser muy importante, hasta el punto de que una empresa (creo de francesa) la terminó comprando para poder instalarla en los avisadores/detectores que fabricaban, lo cual originó ciertas importantes desavenencias entre algunos moderadores y participantes de cierto nivel de dicha web. Nunca he querido enterarme de si hubo beneficios económicos con dicha venta por parte de los Administradores de esa web, en fin, dejemos ese tema tan espinoso.
Yo desde siempre, he llevado, ahora en mi TT GO-950 y antes en otros modelos inferiores, incluso en una primera PDA, 31 diferentes grupos de radares, antes además llevaba los 3 tipos de ficheros, los .ov2, los bmp y los ogg, metidos dentro de la carpeta del mapa, es decir, 93 ficheros en total (ahora los .ogg los llevo separados en la carpeta sounds), y en ningún momento he detectado radares que NO me avisasen con los diferentes Navcores que he utilizado, ( que conste que utilizo con bastante frecuencia mi GPS ) y tampoco ahora que llevo instalado el Nav 9510. Simplemente al leer los comentarios de Caceres sobre el Nav 9026 me ha entrado la curiosidad de probarlo, y por supuesto con todo el agradecimiento y reconocimiento para Caceres, creo que si no encuentras grandes ventajas para el cambio, quizá no merezca la pena hacerlo.
También se ha unido a la conversación el maestro Beraun, al que también reconozco grandes conocimientos. Yo creo que con mis/nuestros comentarios queda claro que no estoy/estamos poniendo en tela de juicio ni rebatiendo las opiniones del maestro Caceres, está clarísimo cual es vuestra filosofía de trabajo simplemente analizando vuestras aportaciones más recientes conocidas y solicitadas por mí, por ejemplo sobre la adaptación del mapa Truck para los modelos más básicos como el One, que me habéis facilitado para un amigo.
Por mi parte reconozco que de doy mucha importancia al GPS en su faceta de avisador de radares, aunque no sea esa la única faceta para lo que lo utilizo, porque tenemos que reconocer que para llegar a sitios desconocidos, ayuda bastante indicándonos que carreteras son mejores etc. Además aunque últimamente no me atrevo a utilizarlo desde su prohibición, también dispongo de un detector/avisador de radares ( con su propia BD diferente e independiente ) que antes si utilizaba.
Bueno…., con todo respeto para todos, esa es mi modesta opinión, como dice Orni en su último comentario, sin la más mínima intención, tampoco por mi parte, de rebatir ni menospreciar a nadie.
Repito, un auténtico placer contar con vuestra inestimable colaboración y conocimientos y os animo a seguir trabajando y facilitando la vida a todos los usuarios, entre los que me considero un afortunado por contar con vuestro asesoramiento.
