Well, that was fast. Only a day after Apple released the beta version of iOS 6 to developers, legendary iOS hacker MuscleNerd has announced that he has already jailbroken the new software on a 4th generation iPod Touch!

Of coarse, the jailbreak is nowhere near ready for a public release yet. While the iOS 6 is technically jailbroken, there are still many important steps to take before it is fully functional and ready for release. Thus, it will probably be a while before we actually see the jailbreak.

Nonetheless, it’s great to see that the jailbreak community is on top of its game. That was incredibly fast…
