Elecard AVC PlugIn for WMP is the package of components for receiving media data from network (RTP, UDP packets, receiving streaming from RTSP server), and playback of streams and files. The PlugIn allows decoding of AVC/H.264 (MPEG-4 P.10 ISO/IEC 14496-10) video, MPEG-2 (ISO/IEC 13818-7) and MPEG-4 (ISO/IEC 14496-3) AAC audio received from network or read from local media storage.

All features of Baseline, Main Profiles support
Full-quality decoding/playback
Postprocessing (deinterlacing, fields reordering)
Optimized for the most efficient CPU usage – takes advantage of MMX™ Extensions, SSE2™, and 3DNow® SIMD extensions when available
Optimized for symmetric multiprocessing (Hyper-Threading Technology, multiple CPU and multiple cores)
Decodes MPEG-4 (ISO/IEC 14496-3 not including Amd.1:2003 and Amd.2:2004) AAC audio streams
Supports Main, LC, LTP and ER BSAC audio object types

Elecard MPEG2 PlugIn for WMP v 4.1

Elecard MPEG-2 PlugIn for WMP* (and for other DirectShow based products) is the package of Elecard components for media data de-multiplexing and decoding as well as receiving streaming video and decoding it. MPEG-2 Video Decoder a.k.a. DVD decoder, streaming components, and demultiplexer comprised in the pack are Microsoft® DirectShow® compatible.

DXVA support in the Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder significantly decreases CPU usage and provides substantial performance gains.

Multi CPU support provides high performance for real time transcoding tasks executed on high-end PCs.

Elecard MPEG-2 Decoder can process DVD Subpicture, Closed Captions (DVD, ATSC. DVS157, C-Cube, SCTE).

Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder is Windows XP Media Center Edition compatible. Install the pack to enable dvd video playback in multimedia players built on DirectShow (e.g., Windows® Media Player).
