however, some people here is saying that you won't be able to use the engel thing as a server, you can only read the card,  and that is exactly what you need , but they keep getting confused cause no one understands. let me translate it for the people but first let me ask you if this is exactly what u need ok?

i assume that you have this coax card that you want to insert on your engel thing, and somebody told you that it can be read on engel as long as you install the right oscam.cfg file to read from the card,
so your question is , what to write on line N:      as listen port for engel ,  which i understand you need the port that engel deco uses to read from the card, is all this correct?

el chaval este necesita, a ver,  tiene un deco engel y una tarjeta  coax, que le han dicho es compatible con el engel, y que puede leerla de ahí, pero para ello necesita modificar el archivo conax.cfg, (supongo el de las lineas cccam)  para poder poner en la ultima de las lineas N, la configuración , correspondiente, y para ello dice que es necesario saber el puerto que el deco usa para leer de las tarjetas, que ese numero del puerto va en la linea y eso es lo que tiene que saber.

alguien le echa una mano, yo no tengo ni papa, pero os traslado sus necesidades, quizás alguien esté usándolo igual.

Para leer la tarjeta (cualquier tarjeta) en este deco solo hay que introducir la tarjeta, luego la leera o no dependiendo del tipo de tarjeta. Una viaccess 4 de aljazeera sport del año pasado la lee sin ningun problema, sin embargo una seca de digital+ no es capaz de leerla. No se puede cambiar nada, o la lee o no.

La segunda parte entiendo que quiere pasar los datos de esa tarjeta a otro deco por su red interna o por internet; con este deco eso no se puede hacer ya que no puede hacer de servidor.

Con otro deco que pueda hacer de servidor (yo lo he hecho con Amiko Alien, deco linux) si podria pasarle los datos al engel poniendo los datos de la linea N o C que haya configurado en el deco servidor. Siempre que se pueda leer esa tarjeta (ya que todas no se pueden). Ademas creo que comento que era tarjeta casada con deco, si es el caso no funcionara salvo en el deco con el que esta casada la tarjeta.

Mi ingles es de traductor, si alguien se lo puede traducir bien, por mi parte no hay problema alguno.

Then why have he modified the config. file according to his need, he sent me this .cfg file few days back, which he said he made this file to be able to read Al-Jazira Card, if its as simple as he says, then there should be no need of such type of modifications. Here is the Pic.
