Qbox-HD is currently in beta testing.

Beta testers had their boxes delivered around mid/late January.

Latest Beta Test Report below:-

It should be noted that we currently only have a beta box with a DVB S2 and a DVB-T tuner, but also still a beta software, the first, not all functions working yet, and secondly, only an English menu available.

This will certainly result in change when box is for sale.


- CI modules function smoothly (Diablo, T Rex, Alphacrypt)

- Internal card readers (only tested with EMUs) (MTV Conax card OK)

Ok-switching from 1.2 to 1.4 seconds

- Channel HD and SD picture quality good-very good (compared with Vantage)

- Plugins: Media scanner, Picture Player, File Manager
Multimedia player, is already included in Originalsoft (divx test follows yet)


- ESata disks recordings (test follows yet)

- USB Recording test OK

- Rotor Control - test OK

- Switching via various satellite Diseqc - test OK

- DVB-T tuner for results - test OK (all the channels at my concerns are also easily found)

- MTV Conax card in internal slot ok

- HDMI to 4 different TVs tested, everything works

- PiP was nothing said ... PiP 2xHD sender? PiP 1xDVB-S2 and 1xDVB-T? - Not in the Betasoft drin

- Timeshift function? Test follows

- Timer programming? Test OK

Networking works, but the download of plug-ins from their server does not.

Hardware, there is nothing wrong (all in comparison to other devices in this price range!)

But in our beta - Box is not a bracket for mounting a hard drive.

The built-in Cam Diablo with our Originalsoft can not be addressed and currently cannot be tested.
