Black Hole 2.1.4

What is new in Black Hole 2.1.4:

All models: Full HD Skin ready.
The 1920x1080 framebuffer support recently introduced in Vu+ drivers has made it possible to use full hd skins. But many parts of the enigma2 gui are hardcoded with fixed fonts and itemheight.
This causes fonts at 1920x1080 resolution to appear far too small. All these gui parts have been re-coded in Bh 2.1.4 to support larger fonts and itemheight in case of full hd skins (thx to Matrix10)

Solo and Duo only:
The 1920x1080 framebuffer support has required extra Ram usage. For this reason the old Solo and Duo models do not have enough free ram to run the curent images with these new features.
In Black Hole 2.1.4 we have included ram compression (zram) that increases performance by avoiding paging to disk and using a compressed block device in RAM instead, inside which the paging takes place until it is necessary to use the swap space on a hard drive or usb stick. Since using ZRAM is an alternative way to provide swapping on RAM, zram allows Linux to make more use of RAM when swapping/paging is required.

WARNING: This Image has the latest drivers and CAN NOT be installed in multiboot. The image MUST be installed in flash.

Black Hole does not support images not installed in flash.

This latest version of the Black Hole series has been entirely rewritten and improved in the code for maximum stability and performance.

Please note that of all images Black Hole now has the best epg system:

- Integrated OpenEpg

- Rytec dedicated epg.dat

- New system epg.dat outside.

This last feature gives the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.

Community members can then download it from our servers.

Hola,

Tengo un problema a la hora de cargar esta imagen en mu Vu+ Solo. El proceso de instalación lo hace perfectamente, pero cuando lo desconecto todo lo vuelvo a conectar no llega a rrancar. Se queda con el led en verde pero no sale nada en pantalla.

¿Sabeis que puede estar pasando?

Formatea el usb ota vey FAT32 mete la imagen z cargala de nuevo si ves k no arranca prueba meterle una original o una vti y si ves k arranca es k la blackhole k tienes ese archivo esta corrupto

He probado con 2 USB distintos (2 y 4 GB), y el resultado es el mismo. Me falta probarlo con un USB de menos de 1GB que he leído que igual puede ser el motivo.

He probado con las versiones 2.1.3, 2.1.2, 2.1.1, 2.1.0 y 2.09

Voy a ver si me meto una original o un vti como me has recomendado.

Su le pongo la que tenía originalmente antes de actualizarlo (1.5), arranca sin problemas.

He leído algo del boot, ¿creeis que pueden venir por ahí los problemas?

Si es el boot mete primero el boot en el usb y detrás la ultima blackhole

Me puedes explicar como meter primero el boot y luego el BH o decirme algún manual donde lo explica por favor? No he conseguido encontrar nada de ese tema

Suponiendo que tu solo no es un clon ya que si no la puedes liar

este es su manual en ingles pero muy simple y el link que tiene el post es el archivo k necesitas meter

No es clon, pero visto lo visto por otros compañeros y estos síntomas tan raro ya me hace que dudar. Lo adquirí como original y me costó como original.

Voy a probar esto que me has dicho y os comento.

Todo perfecto!!!!. Ha sido actualizar primero el boot y luego meterle la BH 2.1.4.B y ha arrancado perfectamente.
