HITOOL RECOVERY : If your Qviart Dual device does not respond to Android UPDATE


If your Qviart Dual device does not respond to the android 9 update :

You need to use hitool to get your device working again

1- Connect your receiver with your computer and the hitool software

you will need a Serial D-Sub DB9 mini jack RS232 adaptor



and db9-female-female-serial-cable-LRG






2-Do not Use HiTool to erase all data on your Qviart, before making an

(upload) of specific files of your device :

unuse, deviceinfo, private


3- Open hitool and download (burn) recovery files to qviart device :

fastboot.img

bootargs.img

bootargsbak.img

recovery.img

recoverybak.img


After reboot

4-Install original firmware

Qviart-DUAL-v-5.00.bin

Rename the downloaded firmware as RomUpdate.bin

and put it on a folder, and rename the folder as RomUpdate

Plug a USB flash drive formatted as FAT32 and paste the folder on it.

Now power off your device, plug the USB, power on Qviart Dual and immediately keep pressing the power button until it displays

"Update"


Wait until finished and the rebooting


5-Install Qviart DUAL (1.04) (Special) firmware

It is better to use windows 10 with hitool

and after having connected your receiver with the computer

open hitool then close it and restart the pc

then open hitool a second time for the operation to succeed

How update your receiver Qviart dual Android 9 Partition ?

Download original firmware : 5.00-Qviart-DUAL.bin

Rename the downloaded firmware as RomUpdate.bin
